Scripture Covers

I’m an activity leader for girls ages 8-11 for my church. For our last activity, we covered their scriptures with cute paper and embellished them with a cute paper flower and ribbon. The idea behind this was to make their scriptures “cute” and personalize them so that the girls want to take them to school/church and read from their “cute” scriptures. I used only a small strip of adhesive on the inside flap so that the paper comes off easily and won’t damage the book.
This activity was a hit! They loved their “cute” scriptures! I think it has helped the girls remember to bring their scriptures to church and hopefully, take them to school for read-a-thons.

Oh, they are just wonderful! Could you please do a tutorial or just give more detailed instructions. I am going to Vegas to take care of grandkids while Mommy is in the hospital with birth of new baby and this would be great for the kids to make!
