I{heart} ruffles.
seriously. *i’m a sucker for anything ruffly.* so of course when i made this summery skirt, i added a ruffle to the hem. i simply love this skirt! PLUS it was super easy to make, bonus! {and don’t ya L.O.V.E. Moda’s Central Park line by Kate Spain. i sure do!}
i’m so excited to wear this light weight, fun skirt all summer long!

Super cute, how fun for the warm weather! I’m so excited to start wearing skirts and dresses again with this nice weather… in fact, I’ve worn a dress every day for the last few days! (yesterday it was 16 degrees Celsius, that is suntanning weather pretty much! LOL)
It’s funny actually, I was wearing a black maxi dress with a thick grey belt and a black cardi yesterday, and a little old lady came by canvassing for signatures. She complimented my outfit and said she had a dress just like it and asked where I bought my belt, saying she was thinking of getting one to wear with it now. I was all :) :) :) and then suddenly a few hours later I turn to my hubby and tell him the story, and then I’m like, “So… does that mean that my style of dress is granny chic? Or does that mean that I dress like a little old lady???”
Thanks! :) Love the story! LOL I’m sure it was Granny chic! haha
thanks for stopping by!
happy crafting!
