Needle Felting GIVEAWAY from Romney Ridge!

Happy {giveaway} Thursday! I have the cutest handmade business for you to meet today. And you just might fall in love with a little furry friend or two! I’m excited to introduce you to a local Maine business called, Romney Ridge Farm Yarn Co! Romney Ridge Farms is home grown and handmade. They take “Keeping it Local” very seriously. Their wool is 100% Maine grown and they use Maine produced dyes as well. Romney Ridge’s hand dyed yarn is so delicious! Just check out their ombre yarn…..

Isn’t it just beautiful? The ombre hues make me swoon! Thinking I may need to dig out my crochet hook again……wouldn’t it make the great….. wash cloths? {ok, so that’s about the only thing i can crochet…..but still}

Romney Ridge  is environmentally friendly. They recycle their dye baths up to 10 times, which reduces water usage and fuel for heating the dye baths. Awesome!!

Meet Kelly: Now you’re probably wondering about the gal behind this colorful business. Her name is Kelly Corbett, and she is a stay at home mom to 3 kiddos. Oh and she dyes 10-20 times each day. {haha} She has a flock of 34 sheep and goats in Woolwich, Maine. And she even has a little yarn shop that you can visit and meet Romeo the Goat.

    I’d call that cute little Puffin Ozwaldo. Just cause he looks like an Ozwaldo! I Love Needle Felting. I make lots of little stuff. Today I’m making some felted Peas in Pods to add to a pot of Alphabet Soup (all felt) I’m making for my grandaughter for her 3rd birthday. It contains letters, bow tie pasta, carrots & peas.

    I think it’s a female puffin and since I really like Pippa Middleton (I’m a fan of the Royals) I think her name should be Pippa Puffin.
    I’m following you on facebook and enjoy the inspiration I get from reading your entries.
