Modern Farmhouse Fall Dining Room

This post is brought to you by Cost Plus World Market. As always, all opinions are 100% mine!

The dining room in our new house was probably my most hated room when we moved in last summer. It had white carpet {seriously! white carpet in a dining room?! #staincity} and burnt orange paint. It was definitely NOT my style! {you can see before pictures of it here} Since we moved in, we’ve added DIY Board and Batten, painted the walls gray, had hard wood floors put in, and installed a new light fixture. Here is what its looking like right now with some awesome pieces from World Market!

Fall Dining Room

Modern Farmhouse Fall Dining Room refresh

My biggest addition to the room is my new Greyson Table. Love love LOVE it! I also got new chairs. I am on the hunt for the perfect chairs for the ends. But for now, I just have the 6 metal tub chairs. Which I absolutely love! They are the Jackson Metal chairs at World Market.

Modern Farmhouse Dining Room

Fall Dining Room I’ve decked my dining room out in some pretties for fall. The giant sunflower bouquet in a large mason jar is the cherry on top. I added in some plum color for this fall using World Market linen napkins. The deep purple atop the gorgeous white Nantucket plates totally screams fall. You have to check out the understated detail of the Nantucket dish line. They are very pretty! I used the Dinner and Salad plates.

Beautiful Fall Place Setting idea with sunflowers and plum colored napkinsHere’s a great shot of the place setting I put together for fall. Notice all the textures with the twine, leather, cloth, and plant. Fall is all about textures and I feel like this simple setting represents that well.

And look at those plates! Swoon!

Slip a faux succulent into the napkin for a pop of color

I tucked faux succulents in the napkins to add some greenery.

Giant sunflowers in a mason jar is the perfect centerpiece for a Fall Tablescape!

Love the plum, yellow, and greens for my Fall Tablescape! Its a color combo I wouldn’t usually use, but I really like it. It was fun to challenge myself to use plum and I like the results a lot.

Dining Room Makeover Update: I still need to decorate 2 walls in my dining room and then my dining room makeover will be complete. yay! Its been a long process, but I am loving how its turning out!

I really like the mix of greens and purples in your dining room. I am just redecorating our dining room to green and am adding splashes of other colours, such as purple!
