2013 Creative Team

Jennifer M.  I’m Jenn, a wife and mother of one with a need to create that runs in my blood. I grew up with a mother who “got creative” when it came to making a beautiful home on a budget and I now share a passion for the same. There’s something about the vintage, antique, collected, and eclectic—things with a story and a past—that make my heart happy. I love to thrift and create things for my home, most especially furniture. I refinished my first piece (a dresser) in high school when there wasn’t a budget for anything new, and ever since that first transformation, I’ve been obsessed with making the old new and beautiful again and showing others that beauty and charm can be created on a budget, and how to do it.

Stephanie S.  Hi, my name is Stephanie…a mom of 2 (and one on the way) and wife to an ex-Marine who just broke out into the civilian world about 6 months ago. We find ourselves in Arizona, even though my husband is from Northern California and I call Texas home. I love to craft all sorts of things and take a millions photos. My daughters and I just finished a majority of our dollhouse makeover project, and I also make paper crafts and sewn goodies. My biggest endeavor is food and product photography, which I hope to launch a website for soon. I am striving to work with other handmade crafters and local chefs in AZ to help capture the beauty of their handmade delights. One favorite thing I love is discovering new sites and local farms to explore and photograph. I blog about healthy eating of real food, documenting life and family friendly projects in the craft room and kitchen.

Amber S.  Hey y’all! I’m Amber from jRoxDesigns and I am passionate about interior design, sewing, woodworking, and photography. More than anything I’m passionate about my most important job, being a mom to my two amazing children! I started my blog as a place to collect and share what inspires me in hopes that maybe others will find inspiration from the things that I love as well. I find inspiration from the simple things of every day life from the perfect shade of orange in a flower to the textures in fabrics. I’ve always loved interior design and ever since we bought our first house 4 years ago I’ve been slowly working on it to become our forever home one room at a time with the help of my DIY loving husband. I can’t wait to share my projects with you!

Katie W.  Hi! I’m Katie from Lemon Jitters. I grew up in an imaginative family that emphasized exploring creativity in art and function. I continue to use creativity as an outlet for de-stressing and maintaining balance in my life. I am currently obsessed with various forms of paper crafting but I enjoy and admire MANY genres of crafting. While crafting, I try to consume as much chocolate and television as possible (just kidding! sort of.) :)

S_Paxman-Bio Hi I’m Steph. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, our 3 kids, a canary, 2 guinea pigs and 2 goats. It’s a zoo in more ways than one! I’ve been blogging at Crafting in the Rain since 2010 and love making anything that looks pretty, is useful, or can be made with my kids. Spread across my desk at any time you can usually find pretty paper, washi tape, paint and bits of twine or fabric.

Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When I'm not DIYing something, I can be found taxiing around our 4 crazy kids or working out. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥

Love your new line up.. do you choose guest designers as you see a post you like or from the applicants that didn’t make the base team? I love your blog btw and hope to see more papercrafting on it from those that do :) Kathi
