i love my Harvest Mantel! chocolate brown, burnt orange, muted yellow, dark red with great texture elements like sweater, twig, burlap, wood, and tile.

  •  my creamy white sweater pumpkin from a couple years ago, plays a lead roll in my festive autumn mantelscape. so easy to make! it requires no sewing and about 5 minutes of your time. {great craft for the kiddos to help with!} the sweater texture + color = perfect fall decoration
  • Turkey, Stuffing, Gobble Till You Wobble is a classic wood + vinyl craft. made that at a church craft night awhile back.

How To Make a Pedestal Dish

Supplies:

diy pedestal dish

brass candlestick {$1 at the thrift store}, cheap plate {dollar or thrift store}, spray paint, E6000

1. Spray paint both sides of plate.

2. Clean the top rim of the candlestick. Place the plate so that the bottom of the place is facing up. Apply E6000 to the candlestick rim and place on the bottom of the plate in the center. {easier said than done}

3. Leave the plate bottom side up and allow the glue to dry for a few hours. Then decorate away with it!
