Happy Monday! I LOVE Strawberry Lemonade. It is my favorite summer sip! Its so refreshing and delicious. And talk about pretty! A couple of you asked for my Strawberry lemonade recipe after the baby shower post. So I decided I’d share my top secret recipe with you….. ok, so its not so top secret, but I’ve tweaked it to get the right amount of strawberry-lemon-sugar ratio so that its a little tart, but berry sweet!
Strawberry Lemonade
Isn’t it the prettiest pink lemonade? mmmmm! I tell you, we chug this stuff. seriously. So I make it in 1 gallon batches….. which last about 2 days around here.
Doesn’t it look so pretty in the cute little drink holder? The pretty pink and teal look fabulous together! {that drink holder was love at first site. had to have it!}
Pink Lemonade
It whips up in a matter of minutes and is really easy to make.
Strawberry Lemonade Recipe
2 cups lemon juice {fresh is best, but store bought taste great too}
2.5 cups granulated sugar
2 cups fresh strawberries
12 cups water
Puree the 2 cups of strawberries. {it will measure approx 1 cup after being pureed} Ideally, its best to strain the strawberry puree through cheesecloth to remove the seeds, but I don’t mind the seeds so I skip this step. Mix together lemon juice and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Stir in water and add strawberry puree. Mix well. Serve over ice and garnish with a slice of lemon or strawberry. {optional} Yields: 1 Gallon

Do you like flavored lemonades? Or do you like the classic lemonade?
happy crafting!
