Happy Tuesday! Did you know Father’s Day is 12 days away? Yep, plenty of time to make a handmade card for those fatherly figures in your life! I whipped a version of the tie card this weekend for Davis and my Dad. It was super easy and I had a blast picking out killer prints for the ties.
Fathers Day Tie Card
Totally fun, right? I think so! I know Davis will totally laugh when he sees it!
I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut the card template out, BUT you could very easily make a small slit in the top of your card and fold the corners down to create a collar. Then cut out a small tie and you’re good to go!
The only trick to cutting this card out with your CAMEO, is to make sure you put the color you want for the collar, face down on the cutting mat. Other than that, the CAMEO cuts it out and all you have to do is fold and glue the tie in place. {LOVE easy cards like this! makes it super easy for the last minute}
Tie Card
Love the colorful geometric print for the tie! I used this paper from Lifestyle Crafts.
