fabric headbands

I’m in love with these! They’re too easy and super cute! Here’s how I made them. (there are several ways, this is how I did it)
You need:
3″ of 1/2″ wide elastic
fabric- any kind
thread
Cut two 2″x20″ strips (I used scraps and fat quarters.) With right sides together, sew the long sides together, making a tube. Leave the short ends open. Turn right side out. Tuck in about 1/4″ on the short ends and put one side of the elastic in the opening. Pin and sew several times across (be sure to back stitch). Repeat with the other side. And there ya go! (and if you receive one of these from me as a gift, please act surprised and pretend to like it! ;)
I think I’m going to do a solid one and add a flower and maybe some feathers….we’ll see how it goes!!
