i’m going to honest….davis and i don’t go on dates very often. shocked? i didn’t think so. {anyone else in the “Boring-Parents-that-Sit-at-Home” boat?} so when i got the opportunity from Serve to give their new service a whirl while they paid for our dinner, i was beyond stoked to have one less boring weekend on the books! so we rounded up a babysitter, grabbed our friends {Cara & Dale}, and skipped off to Vintage Tavern, a fancy schmancy restaurant that we’d all been dying to try.

*note: all pics are from my phone. so thanks to my shaky hands, they’re a tad blurry.

arched entry way

LOVE the front door! it set the tone for the restaurant…and sorta made me want to rip out our front door and try something like this. {haha}

pork chops

i ordered the Pork Chops since i am not a seafood fan. at all. and a good chop sounded nice. {and those brussell sprouts were divine! did i mention i like brussell sprouts? yes, i’m weird.}

and a big thanks to Dale for asking our server to take this pic of my food. i’m sure she thought i was crazy.

lime tart

and for dessert, davis and i split a yummy lime tart. mmm! it was excellent.

so after it was all done, i owed Dale and Cara for their meals. and i hate owing anyone money. so to settle with them, instead of digging out my checkbook {speaking of which, i don’t even know where its at! yikes.}, i simply used Serve to instantly reimburse Dale and Cara for their meals. it was super easy and quick with the Serve app. OR you can log into your Serve account on your computer to do it:
