DIY Double Pearl Drop Earrings

double-pearl-drop-earrings-5

I love the fact that this design is so versatile you can use any other material in place of the pearl beads and make a pair matching each of your outfit styles/colors. I’m definitely into different types of earrings nowadays since I wear my hair up more often so a pair in each color would be a plus in my book! See how easy it [&hellip

Crewel Art Display

crewel art idea

Crewel Art Display I’ve been collecting crewel art for my daughter’s room over the past two-three years.   The typically bright palettes make them perfect for a little girls’s room.  I purchased this garden themed crewelwork from Etsy.   The design and poem were just too sweet to pass up but  I did not care for the frame or the glass.  I know the glass may help protect the piece but it really detracts from the dimension of the piece.  I definitely prefer crewel pieces that aren’t behind glass. So, I came up with a plan on how I could display my Crewel [&hellip

God’s Eye Tutorial Hey there! It’s Alexis from Persia Lou, and today I have a tutorial for a familiar craft that you may have made at camp back in the day. They are called god’s eyes, and while I never actually made these as a kid, I had a lot of fun making them as decorations for my daughter’s recent camping themed party. Macrame and woven wall hangings are coming back in popularity, and I think these totally fit in with that [&hellip
