Craft Cabinet: The CraftBox

Happy Friday! Today is the final day of the Crafting Organization Week! Today we’re talking about craft cabinets. The  nice thing about them is you can shut the door and hide all the supplies inside a gorgeous piece of furniture. That way you can store all your craft supplies in any room in your house. Like your front room, dining room, or even your bedroom. Its like hiding your craft addition in plain sight! haha.

Craft Cabinet

This craft cabinet in my craft room is made by The Original Scrapbox. Its a little smaller than the WorkBox, but still has many of the same features without all the bulk. The CraftBox has a pull out desk so you can open up your box and everything you need to craft is right there. There are holes in the back so that you can run the cords of your digital cutter and other crafting tools down to the outlet.

When you close The CraftBox, it measures: 36″W x 18″D x 72″H. I love the bead board finish! Very classy. Plus the metal knobs are stylish, so this piece can easily fit in with your living room decor.

craft storage

I love the clear storage bins and pockets. That makes it easy to quickly find the craft supplies I’m looking for. This cabinet holds paint, yarn, crochet hooks, clothespins, popsicle sticks, embroidery hoops, scrapbook embellishments, rafia, googley eyes, buttons, and so much more!

Would the CraftBox help you organize your crafting supplies? It sure helps me!

Linda
Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When not crafting, I can be found chasing my 2 small {but very energetic!} boys or playing with my new baby girl. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥

Are the bins and pockets both made of vinyl? How do the pockets fasten to the doors? Can you buy extras? The beadboard finish is my favorite also. This smaller size would probably fit in the space I could make available, too. I’m also crazy about the sewing desk. I’ve been using wrong-height tables and desks forever and I need to do it right.

Brilliant craft cupboards!! These would be a crafter’s dream come true. I’m thinking
of all those times when I’ve had company coming, and my craft mess is just sitting out there like a sore thumb. I would love to be able to just close it up…

I have a craft cabinet but my boys and their homeschooling art supplies invaded it! The craft desk top would be nice to change that!

I’ve been dying to get one of these. Maybe you could answer a question for me. Is the main cabinet solid wood or particle board?

Loved craft organization week. And yes I could use a craft box

The only tip I have is, put it where it will fit! That is why I am in the rut I am in LOL

    Gorgeous creative space.

We used to have those chairs at our dining table – back in the 80s ;-) They were dark brown and ever so comfortable.

Love your cabinet, would love to have one. Of course I would have to clear out a space but I think that is doable. Wonderful series this week.

My best organization tip is to put things away when you’re done… I dont have a lot of room so I have to keep it clean!

i love to scrapbook and am constantly doing it cards etc.So my stuff is everywhere! I have a station set up in my unfinished basement but I feel alone and cold, it looks great and usually its a mess from me doing a project. So my oldest has gotten married and moved out so the smallest room which also serves as a guest/extra room so it is now going to be my scrapbook room !!! I have ordered the scrapbox craft tall box in black bead board, I can’t even wait for it to arrive I want to do a shabby chic theme in black and laveneder so anyone with ideas please pass them on, I plan on doing either a clear or black chandelier, I also have alot of the little boxes the storage ones from Michaels which will probably go in the closet, because I h have to leave a queen size bed in her for company and usuallu me., which is where I sleep too. so please throw your ideas my way thanks!

    Sincerely,
    Lisa Marzano
