Happy Tuesday! Well, yesterday I shared a Thanksgiving craft and today I’m sharing a Christmas craft! Go figure!

You can’t go wrong with a chevron memo board in Christmas colors, right? Makes it FUN to be organized….or so I keep telling myself!

Quick Tutorial

To make this easy memo board, I used 12×12 wood frame, 12×12 sheet of corkboard, 1″ painters tape, paint, glitter paint, hot glue gun, and felt trim.

  1. Paint the 12×12 wood frame red. Then apply 1-2 thick coats of clear glitter paint. {this takes awhile to dry! you can use a hair dryer to speed up the process}
  2. Measure and tape off a chevron pattern on the cork board using painters tape.
  3. Then paint the exposed cork board in alternating colors. {I used 4 different colors} Allow paint to dry then carefully remove the painters tape.
  4. Make sure the glitter paint is completely dry, then hot glue coordinating felt trim around the inside of the frame.
  5. Insert the chevron cork board into the frame.

Then use sewing or push pins to pin up recipes, Christmas cards, photos, lists, or anything that helps you stay organized this holiday season! Almost like a real life Christmas Pinterest board. ha! {you can find me on Pinterest here}

So fun, right? The chevron ind of reminds me of a Christmas tree.
