Breakfast Nook Reveal!

Happy Tuesday, friends! I’m excited to show you my breakfast nook today. I’ve been working on decorating it and still have a couple elements to finish {mainly a rug. kitchen rugs can be tricky!}, but I couldn’t wait any longer and had to show you! So here it is!

My Breakfast Nook

Of course, I used fun colors like turquoise and green to make it pop! Plus great textures in this sunny little eating area totally make it work. This is our every day meal table {you can see my Dining Room here} and I wanted it to be happy and energetic. And I put the word EAT in there in hopes that it would encourage our 2 boys to eat better…..guess I’ll have to wait until they’re old enough to read! hehe

You can even see a small section of the kids art wall up there….before I finished it. The hall way connects to the breakfast nook.

Simple Flower Centerpiece

This is the simple every day centerpiece I put together for the table. I layered a couple placemats, candle holders, and a flower together. The natural fibers add a lot to the mix. Love this pretty little centerpiece!

I sewed fabric bows to “hang” some paint chip art I made {tutorial tomorrow!} and my spoon star burst mirror underneath. And let’s not pass over those killer curtain panels! Adding funky prints always spices up a space.

So I’m really excited about how my breakfast nook is turning out. It has taken me forever to get our home decorated! We moved in last summer and I am still working on decorating and still have lots of rooms to go. yikes!! Anyways, I am plugging along on the decorating, so hopefully I’ll have more to show you soon.

Thanks for stopping by today!

happy crafting,
