5 Spring Cleaning Tips

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Clorox. The opinions and text are all mine.

This year, I’ve attacked my Spring Cleaning more than ever before! I’m not sure why, but I’ve been so motivated to do deep cleaning and organization. And its felt great! So I thought I’d share a couple spring cleaning tips and tricks with you today.

Spring Cleaning Tips

Reusable Spring Cleaning list

  1. Make a List. You can print one out for free online or write your own. But keeping track of what spring cleaning tasks you’ve done previous years helps me not forget the little tasks. Like dusting above the door frames. I also find myself adding new things and sometimes removing things that I feel don’t really need to be done. Either way, I like to try and stay organized so I don’t miss a dust bunny!

clean-toilet

2. I have two little boys, so you know that my toilets get plastered. Seriously plastered!!! {Can little boys aim??} So a sparkly clean toilet is high on my spring cleaning list. I have used Clorox Toilet Wand with disposable cleaning heads for years now. And I love how quick and easy it is to clean my toilets. Using the Clorox Toilet Wand is as easy as click, swish & toss. It scrubs great and has the cleaner already loaded in the scrub head. And I don’t have to put my hand in the toilet! That is my favorite part.

Oh and when I’m done cleaning, a simple push of a button and the cleaning pad is in the garbage. And the toilet is clean! Its such a tidy way to clean toilets and I feel like it keeps the germs contained and disposed of. Plus the cleaner that is loaded in the disposable heads kills 99.9% of germs.

light-switches

3. One place I think that gets over looked in spring cleaning, is light switches. Even if they look clean, light switches can have tons of germs on them from being touched so often. So I like to give them a good scrubbing with a disinfecting wipe. This cleans and disinfects in one swipe.

clean-garbage-can

4. Now remember I said I love my Clorox Toilet wand? Well, I actually don’t just use it on toilets. I like to use it to clean my garbages out too! Cleaning out my garbages is definitely not my favorite thing to do, because ew!! You never know what is growing down there! So I like to keep my hands out of the dirty garbages as much as I can. So that is why I like to use my Clorox Toilet wand for this task as well. You can find Clorox Toilet Wands in Walmart along with all your spring cleaning needs.

Screens

5. Spray off those window screens. As a kid, I used to help my mom do this. screens can get really dirty, so a once a year cleaning is definitely needed. Think of all the dust, cob webs, and bird poop that builds up on those things. Cleaning your window screens will let more light into your home and make it feel cleaner.

I am off to change out the kids’ winter cloths and put summer cloths into their drawers! Yay for warm weather!
