#1 Hot Glue Gun Stand

If you have ever touched a hot glue gun, then you need this stand! Hot Glue Gun stands are so handy and makes using a glue gun easier, less messy, and so much more organized! Oh and you’ll always know where your glue gun is. Brilliant!! If you don’t have one of these, make one or buy one today. You can thank me later.

#2 Hair Dryer

Having a small hair dryer in your craft room is essential! Its great for making paint dry faster and it makes glue strings disappear with a quick blast of hot air.  And if you happen to be crafting while your hair is wet, you can always dry your hair with it too. ha!

#3 Craft Tweezers

Craft tweezers are incredibly useful! They are awesome for weeding out vinyl, intricate paper crafting, beads, rhinestones, and picking up small items. Craft Tweezers are amazing! Especially when you don’t have long finger nails… Oh and they are also good for paper piercing.

#4 Paper Trimmer

Whether you’re a heavy scrapbooker and/or card maker or not, a good paper trimmer is a necessity! These little contraptions make measuring and cutting straight lines in paper, card stock, and vinyl a breeze. I have used a Cutterpede trimmer for years and love it.  The little squares on the body of the cutter measure 1/4″ for easy measuring and the rotary blade cuts nice and smooth.

#5 Rotary Cutter

If you’ve ever cut fabric with a pair of scissors, you know about those awesome hand cramps! Rotary cutters cut fabric, denim, leather, vinyl, and more so fast and easy. If you are a sewist, this is non-negiotable crafting tool! You must own one! I love my rotary and use it all.the.time.

#6 Crop-A-Dile

I use my Crop-A-Dile mostly for hole punching {it does 2 sizes!}, but it can also set flat snaps and eyelets with great ease. Plus it has little rulers to help you be more exact with your hole punching. These have been around for years and are still a crafter favorite.

#7 Scotch ATG

This adhesive runner is the best! Easy to control and the adhesive is fantastic. Paper scrapbookers swear by the Scotch ATG, and so do framers and general crafters! Its great for applying adhesive on cards or felt, wood, etc.

Meet the New Silhouette CAMEO

#8 Silhouette CAMEO

If you’ve read this blog for long, you’ll know that I am a huge Silhouette fan! I love using this awesome digital cutting machine. I use my Silhouette CAMEO all the time to cut vinyl, paper, card stock, leather, magnet material, stamp material, and so much more.

#9 Fine Tip Black Sharpie

This is a no-brainer. Black Sharpie with two tip sizes?! I go through these things like candy. Perfect for cards, scrapbooking, doodling, labels, touching up black furniture, organizing my craft room, writing on my hand, creating sewing patterns, etc. Keep these close on hand at all times.

#10 Fabric Measuring Tape

I literally carry one of these around with me in my purse at all times. These are the best! I use my Fabric Measuring Tapes to measure all kinds of things! Both in my craft room and on the go. I have 3 of these and use them to measure things for almost every craft I make whether I’m paper crafting, making a wreath, sewing, DIYing, cutting felt or foam, or making a banner. I love that they’re small and light weight.
